Frozen Banana Bliss
What you'll need
2 bananas, sliced
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, to be melted
1/2 cup topping of your choice-slivered almonds, shredded coconuts or a combination of both
How you do it
Lay your banana slices out on a baking dish or cookie sheet and put in the freezer for at least an hour, though I had mine in for about 3 hours before taking the next step.
Now melt your chocolate chips, either in a double boiler, the microwave, or very carefully over low heat in a pan. Lay your toppings in a shallow plate and have them at the ready.
Remove your banana slices from the freezer. Working quickly, dip slices in the melted chocolate and then press into the toppings. After you've done this with each slice, place them flat back on your sheet and return to the freezer for another hour.
That's it! You're done! Really, most of the time spent on this creation is inactive and it's a great dessert to make ahead of time!
