These past few weeks, I've let myself be super experimental with the food ideas and recipes I've shared on my blog. I must admit, though that is not my comfort zone, I have really been enjoying it. However, this week I'm going to share with you a recipe I came across on this here World Wide Web. I thought it in alignment with Valentines Day to share a recipe that's all about an ingredient that I have a deep spiritual love and respect for - chocolate!
Let me be clear, this is not my recipe! It's from awesome vegan chef Chloe Coscarellis website. Her site is amazing and though she has a cookbook available to purchase, she's super generous about sharing recipes on her website for free.
Treat your sweet somebody with these babies-cookie dough truffles!!! One of the best parts of being vegan is that you can eat raw cookie dough because there are no eggs in it! Chef Chloe's recipe makes this even more decadent by dipping frozen cookie dough balls in chocolate! What?!? Yes, my friends, it's true! And they are amazing!!! Just look at them!
If you're a gluten freedom type, I'm betting you could make your fave gluten free cookie dough or just sub a gluten free flour mix for the regular flour and follow the rest of the recipe for an equally tasty treat, sans gluten!
Click through to go to the recipe on Chef Chloe's site and get cooking!
I brought a batch of these into the studio yesterday, to rave reviews! Thanks for being my guinea pigs, yogis! Next time, I would definitely make the dough balls smaller so that there's more sweet chocolate loving to go around!
With Namaste and plenty of sweet Valentime's loving to you!
